52400 ground so how can they legally get away with only offering us 1700? Thought there were rules about percentage of stadium you have to offer. Say we can have another 800 maybe if we sell these quick enough according to our box office Facebook. That makes it sound like they think we will struggle to sell 1700.

Isn't it a Sunday midday kick-off? I think we will struggle to sell 1700 unless there's a special discount or something.

The 1700 will go straight away if of thought was expecting at least 3k+ they want to sell as many to their own fans as possible as they will.more than likely be celebrating promotion

We were always going to sell our full allocation for this one. Good season and off to a large club based in a party town?... no brainer

Can't blame Newcastle tbh. It's looking to be their promotion party, or at least a "must win" and their own fans will want to see it.

We average 1400 away this season, so offering us 2500 isn't too bad in my opinion.

The rules on allocation I believe only apply to the FA Cup?

We should be guaranteed a minimum of 2000 tickets ( football league rules). What I don't fully understand is that the tickets are supposed to be available at the away club 4 weeks before the match. How come they are only going on sale now?

It's 2,500 if the "Can we pay on the day" brigade get off their arses early enough. We've only took more than that once this season haven't we?

Not sure about league, but in the cups I think it's 25% of capacity or a certain number (6000 I think) obviously depending on ground size

    2,900 at Rovver'am.

3,700 (I think?) at the Pigs.

    2,500 at Derby.

    Over 3,000 at Blackpool.

Probably about that number at Pressed On.

    After that I'm struggling.

    You're miles out with Preston - 2,110 and Wednesday - 2,500.

2,601 at Rotherham and I'd forgotten about Blackpool

I don't think the rules re: away fan % apply in the league.

They must be some rule otherwise Newcastle i'm sure would have taken up the chance to have zero away fans there. Save on the policing bill by selling out to just their own fans.

For the football league here is the rule

34.2.1 Each Club must make provision for at least 2,000 visiting supporters at every home match or such number as represents 10% of the Club’s certified capacity, if less than 2,000. The League may, on the prior written application of a Club, suspend this Regulation or reduce the figure either for a particular League Match or for a period of time.
