They are grumbling about losing their best players and replacing them from the lower leagues. Jean-Pierre Rivère (previous owner who now has a 20% share) and Lucien Favre (manager) are getting the most stick. Someone says the Chinese haven't "put the hand in the pocket" though. https://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl=en&sl=fr&u=http://www.ogcnissa.com/forum/&prev=search The head article only seems to be available in Press Reader, which doesn't translate.
May be wrong but can't see Sneijder and Balotelli being on wages that most of the French league could afford. Oh and Dante.
I don't think you are with our potential new owners judging by the bottom of this thread. http://barnsleyfc.org.uk/threads/interesting-quote-from-heckingbottom.259655/#post-2020387 I'd take that article with a pinch of salt. With that new ownership Nice have secured their future, especially after building a brand new stadium and training academy, something that they would now be feeling the pinch with.
I'm delving deeper into the Nice experience, instead of just blindly assuming everything is fandabidozi there. I'm not for or against the new owners, just sensibly wary of the consequences.
Fair play. I've read quite a bit, read their owners comments after the Chian Lee took over and more so the recent history of Nice, 2001 onwards.
