    I’ve been told that there were some movement in the Moore to Bristol City deal yesterday.

    The club surely has to try and get this deal through of Kone before they are in any position to announce that Kieffer has left (if he does).

    Bristol are clearly spending, kieffer has two years left so I would expect a big fee for him to leave. All goes back into the squad as they say?

    While I like Kieffer, if anyone is prepared to spend "big, big money" on him, I'd say we should take it. Firstly, he misses shedloads of chances, which you can't get away with in the Championship. Secondly, if we were lacking anything last season, it was blistering pace going forwards. Kone appears to have this in abundance. Moore doesn't.

    I do agree to a point.

    You're right about his chance conversion, but he's an awkward ******* to play against and causes opposing teams no end of problems. I'd certainly rather he was with us than against us.

    Can't help but feel we'll lack that physical presence up top if he goes

    Could be that Stendel sees fast counter attacking football as way forward in Championship and getting Koné and Chaplin types allows this better.
    Ideal world an alternative option would be good though

    As long as we don't sell Kieffer before we get Kone/a good replacement through the door then fair enough.

    It also depends where he goes - China, so what? Millwall or one of the other promoted clubs/a team we realistically need to finish above to avoid relegation, then its ridiculous.

    Bristol bloke on twitter saying fee agreed. I take these things with a massive pinch of salt, but he broke news of them signing Kalas a few weeks ago so might be legit

    Knowing their scouting system I wouldn't be surprised if they gazumped us for Kone and signed Moore as well. Then signed Manual Maranda and Wilks.
