    Look seriously I don't believe and I also refuse to believe these ridiculous rumours. They are getting tiresome now whether messrs Giddings or Nixon has suggested them.

    Back in June, there were reports that Fulham, Forest, QPR and Norwich were interested in signing
    Mamadou Thiam . Given that two of the aforesaid have "poached" two of our better players purportedly
    because they can pay more brass than us, if we do sign the lad, it will not only be seen as a coup but it will be very
    interesting to know why in an age where cash appears to be king, the lad and his agent would opt
    to sign for us, than some teams who in the eyes of the media at least, are deemed to be more "fashionable" than us.?

    If he does sign and for me it's still a big "if", it will speak volumes of the high regard that the professionals and
    those really in " the know" hold for our Club, in that whilst probably not being the best payers in the EFL, we are a recognised
    authority in both spotting and developing burgeoning talent that goes on to flourish in the game.
