I can't say I'm too bothered. Football doesn't need goal line technology or 4/5th officials with screens. Decisions come and go, fans can accept that, unless you're Sheffield United.

They're just pandering to the money men who lose money over a decision/result.

I didn't know it was in the championship at all this season. Was it in action Saturday?

Maybe it's because I'm used to the NFL but I find this seriously worrying, and the fact that the the referees don't even watch replays. Bad penalty decisions, wrong offside calls, clear fouls that aren't given, goal line technology.. All of which could be the difference between an L or a W.

And? Decisions come and go, it's part of being a football fan.

It was installed during the summer. There are cameras trained on the goal lines in both the East and West Stand.

I love watching cricket and DRS (Decision Review System) has improved the game a lot in my opinion. Football is so backwards in a lot of aspects including its stance on technology.

When. The 22players play the perfect game then that's when we can demand perfect referee

It's not demanding a perfect referee, it's just helping them out a bit.

So you're perfectly okay with being screwed over?
I imagine you're English, so when Frank Lampard scored against Germany and it didn't count you thought it was fine? When Maradonna handballed it in you thought it was fine?

Why you wouldn't want to fix problems is beyond me.

The Lampard goal was blatantly obvious to everyone except the referee, certainly didn't need any 'technology' to see that was a mile over.

It's not a case of being "screwed over" and yes, I'm obviously English.

Decisions go for and against every single team in the world, it gives us something to debate in the pub afterwards. But nah, let's turn it in to something it isn't. Not for me thanks.

Well if you had a more fair system, the manager/coach could've challenged the referees decision.

You can't debate obvious decisions. How the hell are you going to make a case for Maradona handballing it into the net? Or a ball that's yards over the line and not standing?

Go watch highlights from South Korea's 2002 world cup run and tell me the opposing managers shouldn't be able to challenge decisions.

You obviously have your opinion on how sport should be watered down like in America, but it's not for me. Nobody is making a case or condoning Maradona blatantly cheating, but sometimes goals are wrongly disallowed or penalties aren't given, etc. It's part of football, it gives us something to talk about and debate with our friends.

The majority of football fans accept not every decision is going to be correct, we don't need technology to kill our game even more.

Thought we'd have had the lights updated whilst we were going all the improvements.
