I think I'm going to take a huge step back from social media. It just brings people you are better off not knowing too well closer and disillusions the hell out of you. Like pond life supporters constantly on the wind-up and bullshitting players programmed like robots to say what they don't really feel. The people I know who don't use social media, aren't half as wound up about the current situation as me. There's a lot to be said for the arms length relationship of the football fraternity in the 1980s.
Good idea mate I think Facebook and Twitter etc cause more trouble than they are worth. I have accounts on both of them but I've probably looked at twitter a couple of times since I joined a few years ago and maybe look at Facebook once or twice a month (mainly family stuff). As for the situation at the club, only time will tell. I just hope Hecky doesn't get so fed up that he leaves us. I'm sure Patrick would have been sorting things out if not for his illness.
