I have the free BT Sport app through an iPad contract with EE, is there a way to stream the app to my tv, so I can watch the cricket on my tv rather than on my iPad? Afraid I’m not very technologically minded so a ‘dumbed’ down version would be appreciated. Ta.

I have the Sky App mate on my IPad and I’m told the only way It can be done is through an XBox 1, I guess same applies for the BT app. Sure some of the more techy minded on here will be along shortly to point you in the right direction.

I may be wrong but can’t you purchase a mini-usb to HDMI cable and play it on your iPad and TV simultaneously? Those cables were upwards of £35/£40 the last time I looked into it though.

Been told that those HDMI cables don’t work for the Sky App, not sure if it would be same for BT Sport app.

Think your best bet is to put the app on a PC/laptop and connect via HDMI to the TV
