    durkar Junior is buying a house , the owners of the house are buying a new build . They’ve asked Junior to exchange contracts on a longstop contract basis I’m assuming because their house isn’t ready and that’s what they’ve had to do with their builder . Is this a usual thing , it’s 30 years since I last bought a house , and I’d never heard of it
