The fact we are even having to entertain the idea that players are too unfit to play two games in a week or in some cases complete an hour without looking like they've just crawled across the Sahara without water is an embarrassment on all concerned.

Whoever is in charge of fitness at the cob should've forced to publicly explain themselves and shortly after should be sent down to the job centre to sign on.

I don’t know if that’s the case. As others have said, Hecky has been prepping his team to play against a 433 with a big target man in the centre. His defenders are promising but inexperienced- will they be able to cope with the tactical change? I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt.

My post wasn't a dig at Jose. He's hardly to blame for our players being unfit.

Surely this goes back to last summer and awful pre season preparation? Some people on here were recently blaming Morrais for the players lack of fitness. As I pointed out though there isn't a lot he can do, he's got to go with what he's got now but fitness is a big area that needs addressing ahead of next season whichever league we are in. Has the fitness coached remained from the previous coaching team or did he move to Leeds?

I've said the same about our fitness for a while- we look done in after 60 minutes
