Just like Northampton in League Cup, miles the better side, if it hadn't been for their keeper and couple of lucky blocks then we could have won that at a canter, credit to Blackpool they were very good on the counter and that Osayi-Samuel is some player, said it after the 1st leg, said it all through the game today and in the end he punished us. If we're looking for a winger to replace Kent (who personally I thought was useless today) then look no further than this lad, 2x the player Ariyibi is and younger and probably cheaper as well, if possible we should get him signed ASAP. Other than that, not a bad performance except for the 1st half, had lots of chances to win it and also Davies had another cracking game. On to Leeds on saturday COYR

"Not a bad performance except for the first half" i.e. half a normal game.

If it hadn't been for our keeper and a couple of lucky blocks they could have won at a canter too.

All in all, pretty woeful considering the status of the opposition.

You are spot on with regard to their winger (who I think only came on as a sub) - he made Kent and Hammill look like players 2 leagues below him. Sign him up!

Aye but it doesn't matter about a normal match because we played 120 minutes and for the majority of those we could have won it, yeah Blackpool had their opportunities but it wasn't sure was it. To be fair I think Blackpool defended brilliantly in both legs and some of the football they played on the counter was better than stuff than we see in this league

I seem to remember a few years ago us doing pretty much the same to Liverpool at Anfield.
**** happens, but I don't know exactly how I feel about it. I wasn't there tonight.

I was amazed at how they kept hitting that little blonde striker with their clearances

I thought we were lay matched myself. Didn't see us dominating the chances created though we had more of the ball.

This is us all over mate. Underdog suits us better than favourite.

Aldershot, Caernarfon, Bromsgrove, Altrincham, Bury, Rochdale, Northampton twice, just to name a few lower league clubs we've either lost to or really struggled to beat in both cups.

I expected us to win tonight, but I'm not at all shocked that we didn't.
