..apologies if it has already been reported on here, but excellent results from a pilot scheme in Finland involving 15 experienced sniffer dogs apparently re trained to recognise a cloth wiped on the wrist of a person positively diagnosed with Covid. It took the dogs between a week and 7 minutes!!! to train apparently. They have proved 100% accurate identifying asymptomatic Covid 19 carriers with subsequent immediate follow up medical tests corroborating the canines 'diag'nose'is' (sorry could not resist that) Faster (instanteneous) , non invasive and far cheaper than current 'swab' methods they could be deployed in airports for example. They are about to be used in Cuneo airport in Lombardy .
