    Today is June 1st, so I wouldn't be expecting much now, the next 3 weeks are notoriously poor for transfer movement everywhere.. All the early deals that are to be done, have been. So I say that it looks like Heckys 3-4 ready to go, have gone, but not here. Which is disappointing for everyone connected to Bfc, most of all Hecky.
    With the amount of players needed.. I would have hoped for more than the one, over the line by now... So we wait for the 5 annual loans and see who our new CEO brings with him..

    Mansfield have brought 11 in with three more set to sign before the end of the month. That's proper organised transfer business.

    But we are in the Champ, but a league below in wages mate .. Not our fault really, cos with amount of exprem teams in the league, with parachute payments/foreign owners. With the size of Barnsley as a club/town.. its impossible

    Being in league 2 and hoovering up 11 free transfers is mikes away from where we need to be. Or you might just want that. Signing Mellor isn't my idea of fun.
    You'd be the first to start moaning if we did and they ended up being *****. Which is what they are

    It's too early to get worried about this. Not many deals have been done in top two divisions yet.
    Also, considering we've been after Mallan since January I reckon we've got one of our main targets already

    I never said we didn't.
    The debate was about the number of deals already done by ourselves and other clubs, NOT the number of players required. I simply proffered a situation as of 1st June.

    Someone will come up with a reason why Mansfield Town can do something and we can't.

    Whatever the reason is, I guarantee it will not be anything to do with Barnsley Football Club.

    Those 11 any good - Quality rather than quantity - these players any good? Rather we looked around and get the right players in.

    Someone will take it as an opportunity to have a dig - Have they done the right thing - only time will tell.
