a real tragedy in my books. I have been there in my youth and I was blown away a truly stunning place as is the Sacre Coer too. I hope it is fully restored totally as its so worth it. It's heritage its history, the French will be broken hearted right now... I hope it is made good. Despite the arguing and falling out Brexit has caused this is something above all that, I hope the funds are totally made to sort it out.

Wonder how much, if anything, the church families will contribute

Most churches are poor, even in the West. given Jesus’ preference for the poor, they tend to be with the poor at the coal face as it were. I often give money but it tends to go to places in the world where clever [email protected] atheists fear to tred like.
