What annoys you about other drivers ? For me it’s the loss of mirror, signal, manoeuvre. Happens every time I get in the car, car in front will either brake for seemingly no reason then turn off without indicating. The usual one is to brake and indicate late and at the same time then turn Then you get the real muppets who do neither and just hang a left without warning. You ??
people who drive on the bloody wrong side of the road..... chuffing foreigners, coming over here wanting to know what love is!
Middle lane hogs on the motorway. Take their license off them, then use it to light the fire under the vat of their own urine that they are to be boiled alive in. Tractor drivers holding their Gadar dating cruise events on major A roads during rush hour.
Drivers of German cars and 4x4's who think they have a divine right to go where they like as fast as they want and god forbid if you get in their way.
I must admit I’ll hover between 70 and 77 ish on the motorway same as most other folk, if I find myself creeping towards 80 I’ll slow down, it’s fast enough for me although some folk fly which is just asking for trouble. I do think that the 70 limit on motorways needs a review though.
BMW and Audi drivers that think that they are only allowed to use the outside lane, and no one else should enter that lane. Lorries that just pull out, without signalling. People who don't merge into lane in turn, but just bomb up the outside and expect to be let in at last minute (see BMW / Audi drivers). I honestly think the standard of driving has gone downhill drastically. Possibly caused by roads being more overcrowded, but I've been in cars with people and can't believe they ever passed their test.
Middle lane drivers. Tailgaters. People who don't indicate. People who indicate when you're alongside them on a motorway, putting the fear of god up you that they're going to side-swipe you. People who do 40 in a 60, then do 35ish through 30 limit roads. Drivers who don't grasp the concept of average speed checks... i.e. do 70mph in a 50mph til you get to the camera, drop to 50mph then speed up again. Knobheads flying down the right hand side of a merging lane just to gain 5 seconds, if that. Usual Audi, BMW, Golf, Merc suspects. I could go on for hours!
Drivers from the middle lane of motorways who insist on pulling into the inside lane like its compulsory to touch it only to indicate out again a couple of hundred yards on because they need to pass the lorry in front like it came as some massive surprise! Drivers who insist on using rear fog lights when its only slightly misty or drizzling a bit
Many things no the road infuriate me, but the thing that annoys me would be people who have their windscreen wipers on at the wrong setting. When a car is sitting in front of a traffic light with barely a drizzle, yet the wipers are going back and forth as if to deal with monsoon levels of downpour. It doesn't affect me in any way, yet it really annoys me!
I see a lot of folk texting whilst driving, there’s a bloke at our place fesses up to having tea and toast whilst driving to work cos apparently he doesn't have time for breakfast before he sets off ffs !!
Middle lane drivers - or more accurately drivers who just sit in which ever lane is next to the outside lane -its annoying when its quiet as you need to either undertake or move over 4 or sometimes even 5 lanes to get past them. Even more annoying are the ones that speed up as you go to pass them - you pull in behind and they slow down again why?
Folk who stop at a roundabout when it's clear on the right . The amount of near misses I've had when you come to a roundabout behind another car , look right and think great it's clear then look forward and realise the prats coming to a stop .
Another one that got me the other day. Was stuck on the M56 due to a spillage on the road, so 3 lanes of solid slow crawling traffic, and some prats with the flashers on going down the hard shoulder. What makes them think that they are more important than the rest of the drivers on the motorway.
The closest I have ever had to a serious crash was on the M1 between Wakefield and Barnsley. I was in the outside lane overtaking - I had finished (I thought) overtaking and signalled left to go back in the middle lane. I then heard a loud beep from the horn of a car in the middle lane who was in the process of undertaking me. What made me really angry was the driver - this young woman was shaking her fist and shouting as if it was my fault. I pursued her till my exit came up - I had just about cooled down by then, which I know was stupid - but she started it.
Yes that’s another massively annoying one. Overtaking on the inside and it happens loads these days.....
