Studies have shown that people who are more highly educated are less likely to believe in conspiracy theories
I don't believe the wealth of our owners is anywhere near that reported in the press. It's not much of a conspiracy theory as I don't believe they have ever been quoted stating how much money they do or don't have, so I'm not accusing them of any falsehood, and I believe their intention is to run the club exactly as they have set out on numerous occasions. They've been up front and open about their plans from the start. The amount of money they have makes no difference to those plans as the intention was always to run the club as a self sufficient business without investment from the owners. As conspiracies go it's as we were, just without so many zeroes in personal bank accounts.
The moon landing is the thin edge of the nutter wedge. Have we got any proper mentalists on here - flat earthers or anti vacciners?
Spot on they've never said what they are going to spend or not spend. People automatically assume that should they sell Moore for £4 million they'd buy in a cheaper replacement. What's saying the books haven't been balanced somewhere else? Could be a number of things such as season ticket sales or merchandise. Other players sold previously. I'm not into looking at accounts I'm not that bothered to be honest. Maybe, just maybe they'd spend more on the right player?
I don't think it's ever been reported that they have Billions in the bank. Net Worth is different, but it's investments, not cash. However... having said that. None of our owners are on the Forbes Billionaire list. But that could just mean their wealth is in their companies, not their personal worth. I suspect we will never know, nor should we be bothered, if we're being fair.
Yes I saw a BBC documentary about it the lead investigator was coming to that conclusion but it wasn't popular so they took him off the case and the British police took over the case. The Mccann's were considering taking legal action but declined to do so. They also left Portugal and returned to England.
Quarks - something made up by "experts". In reality the only quark on earth is the noise a southern duck makes.
Quantum mechanics dictates that light can be split in two this is backed up by quadratic equations whereby there are two possible outcomes. Therefore a person can be two places at once mathematically at least.
I don't really have a problem with believing that their net worth is as reported, but the vast majority of it will be based on valuations of their assets. You don't get super rich by leaving tens of millions in a no-notice building society account, and I'd be surprised if any of them could quickly lay their hands on cash worth more than maybe a couple of hundred thousand, if that. It's why the reports of a charge on the club came as no surprise whatsoever - it makes far more sense for them to personally guarantee a loan secured initially against the company than it does to put in money when that capital is presumably doing very nicely stashed elsewhere.
Given that they were totally negligent in the first place in leaving young children alone and so far away from where they were sat, I am more inclined to agree with the detective. I also feel that they should've both been charged with child neglect.
Totally agree. I also think they did a lot of things that intimate that they knew more than they were letting on. However, I'm not going into detail
Was it? I would have thought that it would be better for them to imply this was the case as their country ( which depends significantly on tourism) would suffer with people electing not to go there if they thought it was unsafe.
