Has anyone ever hired a car through this company? Have ended up with them through a 3rd party site, and it's fair to say that the reviews are not pretty, to put it mildly.
I've never used them, but I will say that online reviews tend to take the most dissatisfied % of customers. Assuming a scale of a service being 1 to 5 (1 being terrible, 5 being amazing). If the service is 3 or 4, you probably won't feel compelled to leave a review. If it's 1 or 2 you'll act like it is the worst thing in the world and maybe 50%* of people will leave a terrible review. If it is a 5/5, maybe 25%* of people would actually leave a review. Dissatisfaction brings out stronger emotions than satisfaction, for better or worse. Just something to think about. *Obviously the percentages are pulled out my arse.
You're definitely right about that, and it did cross my mind. Very few people feel compelled to write a review saying that something was just OK. Plus most car rental companies are ****, to a greater or lesser extent.
