    More deserving than Nick Clegg. Shame that Gordon Banks didn't get made a Sir with today being the 80th birthday of the best goalkeeper England have ever had.

    Does someone really deserve a Knighthood for being considered ( not universally either) the best goalkeeper England ever had?

    Well he's the only keeper we've ever had win a world cup so it's pretty difficult to do and he's unique in doing so. His life story is good too from his humble start and his life tragedies. It's totally different to say we win the world cup next summer and Joe Hart gets a Sir when he's 80.

    Nick Clegg, friend of the tories. This is the reason that the honours system should be scrapped. Horrible, despicable man. Sold the whole country down the river, never mind the young students.
