Anyone else following this t v series - re Jeremy Bamber. For some reason the investigating police force have refused to release most of the documents/evidence taken at the time of the trial 35 years ago. Bamber passed a lie detector test some years ago. Can't decide if the guy is Guilty or Innocent.
I've read quite a bit about it over the years, but to be honest I haven't seen anything credible that suggests he may be innocent. Disappointing to see that the tv drama has characters and dialogue added that have no basis in fact.
I'm watching it. One fact not in his favour is that he claims his sister Sheila killed the family and then turned the gun on herself which is plausible until you consider that the Pathologists report claims that Sheila was shot twice. The Police claim that that was not possible and therefore their suspicion eventually centred on Jeremy.
I'm wanting to watch it, but I don't think I can put up with Stephen Graham for six one-hour episodes. He annoys me at the best of times, but trying to speak Welsh...Nah.
hold on PE - the guy's speaking English with a very good Welsh accent - venture up the Rhondda or my home town Merthyr Tydfil and that's the accent you'll hear - proper lush it is too!
