Interesting that it seems like there are no new free under 12's AFTER end of April. Not sure if that is a usual thing or not?

If you bought on "Early Bird" last season you have until 30th April to renew at the same cost as last season. After that it goes up by £15/£20 to end of May and then more again after that.

I like it how youve got one payday to find 300 odd quid.

Must have been watering the magic money tree.

Has the announcement of a new season come as a surprise to you?

It's not like they've changed the time the season ends is it?

or another way to look at it, is that people have had 12 pay days to find it, since last year's was announced.

When people bought last season and they promised a price freeze did they mention that the price freeze only applied for 30 days?

From the official site last year:
2017/18 PRICE PROMISE: buy or renew before the Early Bird deadline and your Season Ticket price will also be frozen for the following 2017/18 Season.

That to me is a whole lot different to
2017/18 PRICE PROMISE: buy or renew before the Early Bird deadline and your Season Ticket price will also be frozen for the following 2017/18 Season provided you commit to that season too within 30 days of us announcing our prices.

It's a shame we don't try to be as innovative as other clubs or haven't at least let a prize freeze happen for the season after if people purchase an early bird for next season.

Would have been a nice gesture after selling so many of our best players this year and only having one win this year (plus cup defeat to team two leagues below) at home as we head into the 4th month of the year and carry on our goal drought.

You do understand what a goal drought is, don't you? If so, you'll know it's a one game drought we are on.

As for your other points, would it therefore have been a nice gesture last season to have increased prices by £100 because the club won lots of games? Just trying to get my head around your logic here.

I asked this question on here about a week ago and got no sense out of anybody.
I too assumed that the price freeze would apply up to the start of the new season, not the end of April.
Over to BFC for a fudged answer.

I never said it was a total drought but clearly goals have dried up this year and so as the entertainment value and whilst we are supporters we are also customers of an entertainment industry and there will be plenty who won't renew. If we get close to how many we sold this season that will be a brilliant achiement.

Our sales weren't great last season considering the ride we'd just enjoyed. But yes, a similar figure is what I expect.

I agree the goals have dried up somewhat but I'm also able to appreciate the calibre of opposition in recent weeks. Our actual performances have been just as good and in some parts better, but we've lacked that clinical edge that Conor brought us with his set piece skills. In my opinion.

This is a very good point from a legal standpoint actually.

It's a chuffing bargain . It works out at about 15 quid a match , probably less for for the oap's , Its for nowt . The only complaint I would have is that there is too big a gap between oap prices and normal tickets .

There will probably be some get out clause somewhere for BFC, I don't understand why they can't give supports 3 months say until the end of June to renew at last season's price!

The price was announced last season, because it is the same. Therefore people have had from last season to save.

The price freeze for this year was dependent on paying for your season ticket within the same early bird window last year. I get the point about some individuals taking a significant hit from monthly income, but we had to take the same hit last year to get the same chance this time around.

to be fair, it doesn't say it would be available indefinitely either. no timescale is mentioned either way.

How sad and pathetic can a post get?

You are being asked to do the same as last season to get the same price. Why is this wondrous strange?

"A whole lot different" . Purrrlease!

There are posters on here not dissimilar to Putin fake news types - get pouring over the small print and try and find owt possible to do the club down.

And please can we of the pervading grey on this site. Or tell me how to change the colour. It's terrible.

(did I drift off the point there?)
