Surely the match of the season that everyone has been looking forward to. Playing Premier League reserves. I can barely contain my excitement!

I might be tempted for a fiver, but any more expensive than that and I'll definitely give it a miss.

I wont be doing any of these games this season.... The format it has changed to now so they can include premier league u23s has ruined it for me!

Not even the under 23s it's the under 21s and the EFL insist we include some senior players. (Mindst you thinking about it we'd include u21s as they are our senior players.)

Anyone thinking of going to this needs their heads testing. They have killed this completion with this farce.

I always thought the competition was a good chance for lower league clubs to reach wembley but with all the changes it seems more like a play thing for the bigger clubs to give their youth a run out which I'm not interested in.

Wouldn’t go watch a game in this competition now for 10 gold pigs.

There's merit in the competition still as long as the Under 23 sides all go out in the group stages or at least in the first knock out round. It's then essentially as was, with anyone in with a chance of Wembley. It's ridiculous what's happened to the tournament but it was great for Coventry and Lincoln over the last two years and I think whoever gets to the latter stages will suddenly be over the moon at that chance to win something at Wembley.

I might go if it's a fiver, but would rather watch the game against Bradford. I was pro-boycott but saw the benefit the Oldham game brought certain players and so would like us to do well in the competition.

Well even if we got to Wembley, if our opponents were some PL clubs under 23 side I wouldn't go.

I’ll be going. I want to be part of the lowest attendance seen at Oakwell for 20 years.

I'm in two minds. It would be great to see two kids sides in the final with Wembley close to empty with the lowest attendance the event has ever seen. But the negative is it would be shameful for all lower league clubs to allow that to happen by not being good enough.

if your on your uppers, this match and matches like this give you a chance to go to the ground and see a first team game,I would get in touch with poundland and get them to sponsor the game, sell tickets in poundland for game, all tickets 1 pound ,lets see how many people turn up, in fact lets make pies a quid, everything a quid, drinks a quid ,we could get great publicity out of it ,id make kids tickets a penny, with slogan "in for a penny in for a pound",

I live next to the ground. If it costs a fiver or less I will go - why not? It's a competition and can give some of our players a good workout - and, who knows, it might be an exciting football match - which the last home game at Oakwell wasn't. I am a supporter of the club. Supporter "a person who is actively interested in and wishes success for a particular football team." (OED) not a denigrator "a person who treat or represents something as lacking in value or importance." Stay at home, or come to the ground and protest outside how useless this competition is....if you feel that strongly about it - which I doubt.
