Conor Chaplin Signs With The Reds! Club News Forward arrives from Sky Blues 22-year-old forward becomes our 10th signing of the summer! Continue reading on the official site...
Good luck to the kid. Well judging by the photos he actually looks like he wants to be here. Despite the comments by some at Coventry and on here I've a gut feeling about this lad that he'll do well. That's Victoria out on loan now then. But I wouldn't let him go until the last few moments of transfer deadline day for the championship. Which begs a silly question of the day. Can we still send players out on loan to league one and two because theirs is longer?
Like the t-shirt he has on but looking at the club store its not even on there even though its on the menu system..... is it new?
Exactly what I thought. Nice to see a beaming smile on arrival at the club. Don't know the answer to your question regarding loans im afraid
Looks like we've got a squad of 22 who can compete for a starting position and provide the cover we didn't have at the end of last season. Plus players who can come off the bench and score. Only problem is we might ship some goals.
Love that shirt he's wearing. Can you buy them in club shop does anyone know? EDIT: Seems my question has been answered since I clicked to post. That official site is pants, no idea how @Ripper found it.
Yes, the transfer window only covers incomings for registration. We can technically still players abroad in November I think, e.g. MLS as their windows are different.
Welcome aboard, Conor! It's good to see some competition for a starting place up front so they can drive each other on, as the likes of Victor are probably not quite up there yet.
Welcome Conor. I'm glad he's finally signed. It's good when the club track a player and it eventually comes off through hard work and planning. Woodrow, Wilks, Moore, Thomas, Bahre, Chaplin, Brown, Thiam and Miller all competing to be in that attacking three or four depending on whether it's a 4-3-3 /4-5-1 or conventional 4-4-2. Genuine attacking options.
Nope. That’s Moore, Woodrow and Chaplin as strikers. With Millar yet to prove himself. And probably Victor going out on loan. So I’d expect at least another out and out striker coming in. Probably a big lad to compete with Kieffer.
