Well if I had to choose between away and home games it would be difficult. I Really enjoy away days but I wouldn't want to go and watch anyone except us. I'm not really interested in the club's balance sheets to be honest, we have made millions these last few years and it hasn't helped the fan experience much has it? (I.e performances)
My personal preference is away games yes been to every one but Shrewsbury and only been to 4 home games, I never said I don’t go to oakwell so I think you’re arguing for sake of arguing, I had a season ticket for years but just decided I’d rather go away now, but was starting to enjoy games at oakwell again and strongly considering commiting and getting a season ticket again, but might as well keep on doing what I’m doing currently with the price they’ve offered.
I enjoy away days. Cut down a lot though. Still have a season ticket and I would rather give my money to BFC than Peterborough United. We could discuss the second part of your post until the cows come home but that would need a separate thread.
Like it's been said before. If ya don't want to pay it then don't. Pay day ticket entrance. Stopping whining ffs. It's about time some people just got behind the club. And yes, I've bought two half tickets in family stand. It's about making memories with your kids for me which is priceless. Took my lad to his first game on Tuesday and he loves the place.
Which i do not want to do ever again, its gone now, my point is i don't get too hung up on it anymore and just go when i want be it home or away. I have no problem with anyone who would just go to away games, they are backing the players and thats what matters to me. I do take the point that if everyone did that it would be a problem but they don't. I know there was some talk of certain clubs wanting to split away ticket sales 50/50, the bigger supported clubs of course so who knows in the future.
The problem is plenty will do neither, not that i have a soloution for that as we dont know how much cheaper we would need to make it to get extra in.
I don't think I've even seen four wins through all of last season. The only home game I missed was one of the few wins...
Don't forget that the Burton game is included as well which was originally in September! I think these should have been put on sale the Monday morning after the Accrington game when we was on a real high! People will have been getting paid soon after that game, now it's only 2 weeks to Xmas and we have had 1 point out if the last 6!!
No need for that. Some of us can't get to home games easily. I'll go and see Barnsley whenever and wherever I can. Due to work and the cost of trains it's usually away, and I'm well aware it doesn't help the club (apart from their 10% or whatever), but it's really harsh to compare it to groundhopping.
