I like Mads but how long are the players/mgmt going to churn out the "Reading lost, so we’re still in the game, and we believe we can do it" line? It's an 8 point gap. The gap doesn't shorten unless we pick up points, even if Reading keep losing. It's basic maths. And yes, we need to be clinical at both ends. But shipping 4 goals doesn't make it an easy task at the other end does it? I feel like they're all reading from the same script now, and it feels seriously delusional.

Didn’t realise until today, we have actually scored more goals this Season than all of last Season.

No you’re right, double checked looked at wrong column for this season.
    Explains why I was surprised.

Did you look at the losses column? That's about the same as the goals we scored last season!! :):)

I can only see us winning 2 games & that is fairly optimistic, given our recent form. We were down when we conceded vs Reading, but yesterday was just a depressing disgrace of a performance. Poya flattered to deceive for a few games. I agree it is not all his fault, as we barely have a starting 11. The bench is dross at Championship level. We don't play to our strengths & invite teams on to us though. We need a more attack minded manager in L1. Not Stendel for me, but someone who plays a high press, attacking style that is going to get some of us through the turnstiles.

I liked Mads from the moment he arrived, due to his contagious positive personality and big grin.
He looked totally dejected in this interview.

I like Mads, but I think he was at fault for the Reading equaliser and Millwall’s opening goal. Not sure that he or Helik have stepped up fill the experience / leadership void as much as the club would’ve liked sadly.

Watched the lowlights and goodness me, the first goal is an absolute horror show. Andersen doing a Helik from earlier in the season, but when you look at the positions of the rest of the defensive line, it's all over the place.

I think that Kitching and Vita slid across as you would expect them to, but Quina didn't cover Vita, which left the goalscorer unmarked.

I think it was a situation where you would expect Wolfe to be involved in, in his role of protecting the back 4, rather than needing Andersen to get involved. Benching him was an odd decision.

They seemed far over before Andersens marauding. The starting positions didn't seem great at all. And we've seen Helik do that same thing several times this season under both coaches. They are either being asked to do that, or it's not being coached out of them.

Maybe Wolfe had a knock, or the sports science team wanted to give him a breather. But yes, if that wasn't the case, he seems to be our best midfielder at the minute and him not playing weakens the team... further.

Our entire squad has scored 8 fewer goals than Aleksandr Mitrovic

I don't know if they are being asked to do it, or if it's just a lack of trust that they have in the players in front of them.

The only example I can think of where I can see the defender being asked to do it, was Helik against Fulham, where he must've been tasked with man marking Mitrovic, because he followed him every time he dropped into midfield. Then the full backs, particularly Kitching would tuck in to cover. The one on Saturday looked to me like a rash decision, rather than anything tactical.
