Does anyone else forget that it's "AFC" Wimbledon that we play tomorrow?

I've been thinking back to my two visits to Plough lane and once to Selhurst, as if it's the same club, different era, but of course it's not.

Maybe when they move back to Plough lane, just up the road from the old ground, they will have come full circle and can drop the "AFC" on condition that Milton Keynes do likewise with "Dons".

I really feel that they've earned their stripes in coming this far, and so many associating them with the old Wimbledon is testament to that.

I know factually you are correct but to me they are Wimbledon and MK are just a club who stole a place in the league they didn't earn.

Completely agree. Franchise have achieved a season in the Championship and nothing else.

They haven't grabbed the imagination of the local area and are a soulless club rattling around in a big empty stadium.

I’m still shocked the football authorities allowed it to happen if I’m being truthful, good luck to AFC after Saturday of course
