    Adam Hammill :( also that had better not be the only statement they make about him leaving, a generic thanks. I’m hoping to see something a bit more detailed in the next day or two.

    That was my first thought. What a terrible way to treat a true legend of this club. Adam will be remembered in these parts long after the current owners and Chief Exec have been forgotten. Disgusted.

    Absolutely gutted that Hammill is off. Been the player of the decade for me. The goals and memories he’s created, as well as his passion and commitment to the club and town are top drawer.

    Best of luck wherever he ends up. Still plenty to give any club lucky enough to sign him.
