Gardner and Potts with Williams in midfield just wondering whether to just go home again. Hedges not even on the bench which is a bit surprising.

Hoping Thiam on wing. No problem resting Moncur but Gardner seriously. He makes Moncur look like Messi

In the same camp myself. When it started snowing an hour ago, while I was family visiting, that very thought crossed my mind. I’m in town now and having seen that Potts and Gardner are both playing again the temptation to get back in the car is strong. I’m staying obviously but had I not got my season ticket in my pocket it would have been 50/50

Blimey, that Derby team looks strong, with a strong bench as well. Would do well to get a point today.

My initial optimism that we would only lose by 3 goals has evaporated.

Whilst would love to be proved wrong, just fail to see any optimism in that team. Williams, Gardner and Potts in midfield. Marginally better than Dawson, Frimpong and Perkins if I was looking for positives.

    Good luck though reds.

What you doing this afternoon Jay?
I'm going to sit outside in sub zero temperatures to watch Bradd Potts play on the right wing and pay for the privileged of doing so.
    Are you ******* mental?
    Clearly I am, yes.

I think that’s the point, we can seamlessly switch from 4-4-2 to 4-5-1/4-3-3 depending on how the game is going without having to change personnel.

It’s also great to see that Mallan has got his head down and played/trained his way into the matchday squad.

The only thing I can say for certain today is: win lose or draw, I'll be there to see it

Imagine Frimpong and Thiam in the same team. Entertainment through the roof, but lose every game :D

It’s not chuffing point! It’s about as far from the point as possible! We are playing brad chuffing Potts on the wing or a centre forward on the wing!!!!!!!!!

The only thing we are doing seemlessly is losing football matches

Leaving the pub still feels impossible. I might just stay here and pretend I went.

From what I’ve seen and read about Thiam’s time in France it appears as though he predominantly operated from the wing cutting inside as opposed to being an out and out central striker.

Calm yourself down, we haven’t even kicked off yet.
