TICKETS: Leeds United (A) Ticket News An update for Reds supporters wishing to attend the Yorkshire derby on Saturday. Continue reading on the official site...
Yeah cheers, don't tell us how many have been sold or anything. And people wanting to go to Forest on the night, again, don't provide us with an update on tickets sold or anything.
It's a bit late in the day, two days before the match, to be deciding it's all ticket with a 2pm Friday cut off. Some people may have planned to buy them after work on Friday for instance. They assume that everyone's going to see that announcement as well. Earth calling football clubs: not everyone is glued to the internet 24/7.
A bit late ? Tickets have been on sale two weeks , order online after 2 tomorrow ? Print at home go to box office up till 18.00 tonight . If you’re going there’s no excuse really . I’m guessing they’ve sold more than they thought so looking at selling out .
For Leeds - because I want to know. For Forest - because I want to know if a friend who lives in Nottingham will be able to purchase one on the night should he decide to go
People have known since last June when we would be away at Leeds. I think ten months is enough notice for people to decide if they want to go to the game.
You can't buy one anywhere after 2pm on Friday. I'm not going by the way, before you go on a rant about what I should have done. I sometimes post from the point of view of others, not just myself.
I don't care how many we have sold or when the cut off is. They are £39, which is all I need to know to suggest that they can shove them up their arse.
Ponty has a point though. If people knew all along that they were going to buy it tomorrow after work, which people who get paid weekly genuinely might be planning on doing, then they'll not be able to get one. It's too late announcing on Thursday that tickets now go off sale 2pm the next day. The vast majority of people won't see that message and some of those people will have been people who were planning on buying tomorrow afternoon or on the day (if that was an option, I know I've done that at Leeds before).
To me there’s always some excuse . Some folk can’t afford it some have work commitments and that’s life . I knew I was going so bought a ticket , I know folk have life that gets in the way of football but there’s no way I would have paid on the day anyway as it’s forty four fooking English pounds ! UTR
It's not an excuse though is it. I'm pointing out there will have been people who were planning to go to the box office after that time tomorrow. There always is on Fridays. If I was saying that I was planning to do that and now can't go, you could have argued I was making an excuse. I'm not going and I never was.
You always seem to have a good moan at ticketing they could ask the fans when they want the game to be played and give the tickets away and seems you would still find summat
Surely if all tickets had been sold out they would have said & by saying nothing means there are still some for sale
The full allocation for the Leeds game would have been around 2,500. The initial allocation I think will have been around 1,500 (Upper Tier of West Stand). The remaining 1,000 in the Lower Tier.
