Tom Bradshaw Joins Millwall FC Club News Striker leaves Oakwell after two years in a Barnsley shirt. Continue reading on the official site...
Try and buy a player from any other team's starting 11 at this late juncture without a suitable replacement lined up.. Absolutely tin pot. reiterate that all funds from this transfer will be invested into the playing squad Just like the rest of the funds we've got from transfers in the last couple of years
Good luck for the future, Tom and thank you for always giving 100% for the team. Now to find out who your replacement will be.
Why is it Crackers??? It's football!! This is what happens. Ya can't just say 'wait a few days/weeks till we find a replacement'! They want the player as soon as possible for there up coming game etc!! If Bradshaw had an injury for the next game we would have to change things anyway! If he was injured for longer same as! Some people as thick as **** on here
A good statement by GeeGee - that they are to pursue targets ALREADY identified. That will do me. No complaints.
great statement from the club and from gg. good luck to tom and top marks for the apparent professionalism shown to the club off the field. well evidenced by his effort on the pitch. good lad. just a pity he has joined such a shthole of a club. coyr!
He is (or was) under contract with us. Therefore we can decide when he leaves. Of course it’s crackers. You’re thick as **** for not understanding that.
As I said, I don't see any other teams selling integral members of their first teams with no replacement lined up at this late stage. It isn't 'what happens' and any competently run team would have told Millwall just that. This is not fresh, out of the blue interest, this has been going on some time so to have nothing lined up is ridiculous. As for the injury argument, agreed and thats what makes it all the more frustrating- we were already a striker short. Making it all the more preposterous. We have had a dream start and are still only joint 5th, we need all the fire power we can get to ensure promotion. The last sentence, very astute, ever thought it might apply to you?
Read GG's statement!! We have players identified!! This is football.... If we were cash rich we could sign who ever we wanted the same day from where ever we wanted but we're not! We are Barnsley and we have an will always do business like this! Some people on here are just thick as ****
Seen the interview with him saying as soon as Millwall showed an interest he knew he wanted to go so I’d say we will definitely have players lined up. I just hope we can get the deals across the long quickly. I’m pretty annoyed that we’ve sold him but not really surprised. Good luck for the future Tom but you’ve gone to a shithousery of a club.
I'm ok with this, looking for we to see Victor or moncur start on Saturday and love to get new new strikers in. You reds
Agreed! This is not just another case of the club selling its best players is it? I liked Bradshaw a lot -- but he has only scored 1 of our 10 goals. You can make the valid case that he does an important pressing job up front very well, but I am sure we can get someone who has the energy to do that job and maybe be a bit bigger/physical, and have a few more goals in them. Had we kept him any longer, his price would have gone down, and I did not see many goals coming Right choice by BFC in my opinion - but I can forsee the comments on here if we don't beat Scunthorpe!!!
It's the word "reluctant" that riles me. If the price is right there is no reluctance whatsoever. Do they announce that on Saturday we might be "reluctantly" playing a team with less chance of winning at Scunthorpe? It's all spin and some on here just swallow it. Let's have the friggin truth. We can bear it. Such as "every man has his price". And Bradshaw has been sold for his.
Oh no!! How are we going to find a one goal in four striker who can run around a lot? Might as well get ready for league two now.
