Cheers pal. Decent statement, should have thanked first then excitement for new club... but I’ll let him off.
I will expect a decent, up-to-speed replacement in before Saturday, otherwise we have weakened the side for at least one game and risk losing our momentum.
There’s some right babies on this site. Maybe not watched enough footy to know that players come and go. All sorts of reasons. As usual this will be a mixture of Bradshaw wanting to go and us getting as much as we can. We wouldn’t sign anyone until the deal was done for obvious reasons. Whether we get who we were after is a matter for the next few days. Whatever the case, saying we are as good as relegated just because Bradshaw has gone is just plain babyish.
He might end up living near me! Maybe Pinnock is giving him advice having played round this neck of the woods for a while.
That's pretty much what they've said, just slightly different words, but the same meaning. "The Club have fought as hard as possible to keep Tom at Oakwell and have offered him a new contract, which was rejected. This offer now represents a good deal for both parties and the Board of Directors would like to reiterate that all funds from this transfer will be invested into the playing squad, in order to seek an immediate replacement." Given the above surely you can bear it. Offered him a new contract (rejected) Given length of remaining contract offer represents a good deal for both parties all money to be invested in squad Targets identified Not sure what else you want from them, short of giving you a call first before any deal
He was under contract till the end of the season. I understand we are getting around £1 million, plus sell on. We bought him for half that & he has hardly been Brian Joicey in the goals department. If he ran his contract down, he could have played like Moncur all season & walked. (I expect that lazy **** to do just that). He is a human being & wants to be with his family & at a club who are in a league above us & want to sign him. Good luck Tom. Never thought you were that great, but you tried hard. x
Millwall have offered enough dosh. End of story. A"good deal". We all know it's a business. I said it was this "reluctance" crap that annoyed me.
Thanks Tom. You came you saw and you were kind of alright. Hope you do well as you seem a good bloke. Daft that we have let him go without a replacement already in place but that’s on us not you.
We won't get a replacement in before Saturday not a chance victors time to shine already got two from off the bench 2 tap ins but you have to be there to put them in. Hoping for a good replacement next week to make up for this week's shambles of selling without lining up replacements.
We could always try to sign a young premier league striker on loan , someone like Ugbo , Kyawama or Cowley , no problem getting a replacement .
