Joe Lolly and Quaner sounds like they had some experienced players on show today. Weren’t we rumoured to be linked with Lolly in the Summer?

Id take both in January if we could, Lolley would be another good winger option if Izzy is going to be side-lined a lot and Quaner is a big but mobile striker

Huddersfield had a much more experienced side out and the game was a lot closer than the score suggests.
At 2-1 down two awful defensive mistakes cost us any chance of getting anything from the game.
Mallan took his goal well but tended to hold on to the ball too long and got caught in possession too often.
Victor was totally dominated up front and Browny playing wide on the right didn't really work.
Berkovits really needs to learn that there's 10 other players on the pitch. Hauled off after an hour but would have been off before that for me.
Trialist goalie didn't cover himself in glory with the first goal but made some good saves later, just don't think he's big enough.

Is Stevie Mallan close to a chance on the bench for the Seniors?

A goalie from Derby. Mallan does some good stuff and certainly has a very good shot on him but I think a couple of the young lads in the team will have overtaken him by the end of the season.
