    It used to the case that to be considered for the voting, a player had to have played 20 games in the season at that point. May be worth editing for that fact to stop sabotage with it being an open vote that could be taken again and again once cookies and session reset.

    Really difficult. A few players have had good half seasons (McBurnie, Gardner, Williams, Jackson, Yiadom) but either weren't at the club, have been injured or have just played badly for the other half.

    It's anybodies this year. Will be interesting to see who the players give it to.

    Lindsay for me.

    There’s too many who just haven’t played enough. Obviously McBurnie’s been superb but only joined at the end of January. Yiadom on the whole’s been decent after his first few games but missed 2 & a half months so it’s hard to rank him above either if Lindsay or Williams.

    Really for me you’re looking at Lindsay, Potts, Williams, Davies, Moncur, Bradshaw, Hammill & probably Yiadom as the ones who’ve been regulars for most of the season.

    I’d go -
    1 - Lindsay
    2 - Williams
    3 - Yiadom

    The problem is most people have really short memories & forget a lot of the first half of the season so will probably just vote McBurnie

    In my opinion Williams was comfortably our most consistent performer until December although I do appreciate that he tailed off thereafter.

    McBurnie has been phenomenal but he has only been at Oakwell for circa 10 weeks. That’s not a criticism of him at all, it’s just an observation that so much of the season had already been played by the time he joined.

    For me it has to be Yiadom who has been excellent for the vast majority of the season and aside from McBurnie and Gardner (two loanees) is arguably our ‘best’ player.

    Not many contenders this year huh? Yiadom, Jackson if he’d have played more, McBurnie or Moore had they been here for the full season.
