You've missed a bit...it should read...‘And after the **** waving incident, followed by a brief but violent fracas where one party suffered bruised testicles...the other a painful eye-gouge.....we shook hands like men, and to get over it went for a bit of bonding casual racism and went out and voted for Mrs T

And if two of you put your hand up her bra at the same time, you just had to out-alpha the other guy by punching him in the face. Responsibility. Respect.

Brilliant. you couldnt make it up

as a side note most of the women I knew - had you stuck your hand up her top would have turned round and hit you pretty hard.

    I also liked
No doubt all the police were decent and uncorrupt, the Judges fair and even the football referees were unbiased and consistent

I was referring to you discussing responsibility and respect in the same paragraph as the second quote.

I think things are far worse now. It’s the ME ME ME generation, drunken oafs (male and female) littering A&Es throughout the country. Give me the 50s & 60s anytime. I must admit I never met anyone acting as badly as behaved as Parky’s boss at that time or since.

I don't swear in front of my Mum and don't want to; I don't want to hear her swear either - as you say, apart from bloody or bugger, that's as far as it goes.

You have made the mistake of taking his post seriously and forgetting that it is merely yet another cry for attention

That must be me then, but what's the post war settlement that I don't want anyone else to have?

I can't claim it as fact, but there does seem to be a lot more wierdos about now than when I was a lad. I suppose that's down to old people not bringing their kids up right?

You've got to remember that your generation raised the younger generation. All the faults are due to poor parenting :)

It’s certainly not something I would ever have done, for one thing it’s not right and for another I would have been miffed if nobody had noticed :p
