I'm thinking he may be the signing soon.

He's just liked a tweet i sent to him a few days ago.

"Come to Oakwell lad. Train hard, Improve, Score goals ⚽. Then become a "Tarn" legend then hit the big time like others do ! #barnsleyfc"

Not sure why he'd like it now and not when i sent it.

Maybe barking up the wrong tree but here's hoping.

He'll be here soon. Was always the plan.

Angus MacDonald has never liked anything I've ever sent to him and he's a current Barnsley player.

Admittedly some of the pictures are a bit graphic but he could at least acknowledge them.

If he doesn't like your knob shots on the first effort, 350 more of them isn't going to change his mind.

He's probably too busy trying to find out what a "Tarn" is.

It's claimed in today's Chronicle that a loan deal for McBurnie has provisionally
been in place with Swansea for weeks, but they are reluctant to let him go just
yet due to the lack of frontmen themselves.

Hecky says " It's out of my hands but I hope we are close to some signings.
We need four players minimum before the start of the season. Then we can make
decisions about whether we need any more or whether we need to move some out.
Strikers are a big priority for us and hopefully we'll have some in soon.

Nothing has changed since I said we were trying to bring in six. We have brought Ike
and Joe in so we need four more. We are not at a point where we haven't got them.
But we are looking at others just in case. Hopefully they will be in before the first game
of the season. You would rather have a quick "no" than for it to drag on. It's frustrating
but there is progression so we just have to stick at it and make it happen.

With loans it is subject to when a Club wants to let them out, but if it's a permanent then it's
just about us agreeing terms with the player.
It doesn't matter how much I back myself, I know we haven't got enough at the moment.
I'm frustrated we haven't got the amount and quality of players I wanted, but it's an opportunity
for players who weren't in the side last season to come in and impress."
