I asked Mr Cryne that very question at the meeting a couple of weeks ago. Mr Cryne said that football has moved on, it would be up to the player and to Swansea and he gave the impression that a deal would be unlikely
Mr Cryne's answer wasn't straightforward in my opinion, but I just got the impression that a deal would be unlikely. Isn't he playing some first team football with Swansea now ?
Gauthier Ganaye told football heaven that there's no deal in place to bring McBurnie back to the club, but he could be one of a number of players we're targeting in January.
We signed him (effectively) in the summer when the takeover wasn't imminent, why should it be any different in January.
Well if we are. If it's not done in the 1st week. Pull the plug. Completely. It would be embarassing if we spent an entire window again chasing something for nothing
