Never seen him play in the flesh, but have kept half an eye on him as I've got friends who support Grimsby and he looks very useful on the clips I've seen.
Scored 3 very good goals on Saturday which lead me to dig a little further. Looks like the kind of player we would go and looks ahead of Payne/Tuton experience wise. Could be a good one to sign n may be loan back where he is???? #COYR
You could put random letters on the back of his shirt and let people pick out words - new half time comp
I saw him play against Eastleigh (I think) in the Play-off semi final first leg (on TV) and he (like the rest of the Grimsby team that day) was absolutely dreadful. I then saw him play in the play-off final against Forest Green Rovers (again on TV) and he single handedly won the game for Grimsby in a game which could have easily gone either way. He looked a proper match winner that day, and playing well below his level. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Grimsby fans reckon he's a real confidence player, and if things aren't going his way he can be very frustrating. However, on his day at Conference / League 2 level he's completely unplayable, and it's generally accepted there that if he keeps developing he'll be off to the Championship for a decent fee. Only 23, I'd say he definitely fits our bill.
