Losing 1-0 and Mcgeehan and Sibbick are both on the bench. https://www.flashscore.co.uk/match/tEMYdSaf/#lineups;1
Funnily enough: the team they're playing (Beerschot) are owned by the same Saudi Prince that owns Sheff Utd. So this is a kind of weird South Yorkshire/Belgian derby. COYR
I watched a bit of the second half and have to say im not impressed by the standard of football. Never having watched belgian football i assumed it would be half decent.

https://www.flashscore.co.uk/match/4EzkSkZ9/#match-summary Threw away a 2-0 lead tonight. Anyone know why Sibbick hasn't played yet? Surely not injured already? McGeehan got booked (no surprise), but the line up has him down as right back.
Bit surprised we let sibbick go to be honest. Seemed a very decent young player to me and capable of playing a few positions.
I agree. But he's on loan I think, so I expect we'll have another look next summer and make a final decision.
Maybe he's struggling to get fit? He was very ill apparently at the start of the year, which cut his season with Hearts short. If he's lost a lot of weight, he could be struggling for fitness. He won't have played a game since January. Only guessing though.
Poor lad ended up with glandular fever after impressing in his first games. I think it can take months to feel back to normal.
I had it in my mid twenties and was in bed for a month, off work for 6 or 7 weeks and yes, it did take a long time to get over it. It's the only serious illness I've had in my life and I felt like I was going to die at one point. The doctor did regular house calls but didn't think it bad enough to admit me to hospital.
