Given that we may encounter injuries and suspensions what's the worst 11 that could pick up the required results?
About as much use as forgotten players that everyone remembers. To play along, everyone is injured and mum of year Kerry Katona is now in goal.
A BBS select XI, if all our players are injured. I'll start in goal, with @JamDrop on the bench as cover.
Stendel picking me out of crowd to put mi booits on. I mean I am versatile, I'm s***e in all positions.
Jemma Collins as holding midfielder. Uncle Bulgaria on the wing Dick and Dom front two Dianne Abbott and Rusty Lee centre halves
Conway in goal, Chien Lee centre half, Billy Beane centre mid, the asian chap out wide and Grace Hung up front. I'd go and watch.
My replacement hip is getting stronger every day, although all that runs on me at my age is my nose, if somebody can lend me a pair of size nine booits, I could play wide right.!!
At one time ...A bad back problems with my legs would have seen my name being the 1st name on the team sheet seeing as we attracted those sort of players.....these days not so sure ...I reckon my age would be against me ....but then again if we were that desperate mmmm where do I sign .....lol
I was thinking could the club get away with Green, Dougall, Styles and Brown across the middle if anything happened to Mowatt and Mcgeehan and maybe Bahre in behind Moore if Woodrow was out injured or vice versa. I perhaps should have posted is the squad deep enough to see out the season? (Notice I didn't use the word "we"). I didn't want to offend JackTatty who I have obviously offended in a past life or during his time on TykesMad.
I think very few teams in this division have a lot of strength in depth. Outstanding players get poached & good players, (like Adam Jackson), if they are not playing get restless. Having a good academy is a great way round this. We have 2 lads in the starting eleven we would not have really considered at the start of the season & there must be a few more if DS is happy with what he has.
