Our main aim now is getting that all important next win, it's been 5 games without a win, probably 6 on Tuesday, we don't want to be getting in a rut.
We are 6 points off the bottom 3. That's two games.

11th is all rosy tonight, but it will probably look oh so different this time next Saturday.

2 hard games coming up with newcastle and Brentford. And without josh scowern and Connor horahine that is a scary thought.... made even more scary by the fact Cole kwapka is at left back....

this is the harsh reality of competing in a league 3/4 full of parachute payments and bigger clubs, the great start was good while it lasted and from here on in we have to get behind the team and dig in,avoiding relegation was and still is our ultimate aim.

There's approx half a dozen teams at least we can expect to reasonably finish in front of imo.
No need for any panic yet nor doom and gloom.
The gulf in expectation of some of the teams like Fulham ,Newcastle etc because of the calibre of players is gonna be overwhelming at times and I expect us to succumb in some games like today for instance ,but well overachieve in others as we did against QPR .
No bubble has burst nor have we been found out .
We are doing just what I expected a hard working inexperienced honestly funded team as ours to do.

Seems we've finally had a Brighton performance at home. Can't believe we were in front twice. For a fair bit of the game stats showed Fulham had 70 odd percent of the possession. The only positive I could see was our goal difference didn't get worse with ten men.

I've seen every game and think Fulham are probably the best team I've seen. Some guy behind me was blaming the referee, but the game had gone before scowen walked.

Fulham played us off the field from start to finish.

Anyone worrying about Newcastle on Tuesday? Do you expect them to be better that Fulham were today?

Nothing's changed for me. We've got a good first team but the back up lack experience & possibly ability.

Hopefully players like Kpekawa will improve with games & White's only out for a fortnight, 3 games will fly by with Scowen & Hourihane's expected back either Tuesday or Saturday.

The next 2 games might be a struggle but hopefully we'll be virtually full strength in 2 weeks time & back at our best

I agree. Fulham were outstanding today. Best side I've seen so far although didn't go to Brighton. Parker completely bossed the game and their touch and passing was shockingly good. On that performance they are a top six team. We will recover and we will have better days.

Nothing's changed whatsoever for me. They were very beatable today but I thought we looked substandard without our captain and best goal creator. We made their day very easy for them and if they're the best you've seen then we have very little to worry about bearing in mind we carried both full backs, morsy and hammill. You don't win games with 7 men.

Carried morsey who got mom and 2 assists? Did you mean scowern because he got lost 1st half and Im struggling on what he did today exept get sent off..... One of his worst in a red shirt for josh. Ryan kent wasn't much better either.

He still contributed more than josh who I forgot was on the pitch until he was sent off. Morsey was one of the few who wanted the ball to feet while other players went missing. Agree about Hammill was poor and gave no help to the wing back but neither did Kent.

The worrying thing is, we're saying that regularly about ordinary teams. Reading were praised to the hilt as well.

We were flooded by them today.

It wasn't craft or guile or individual skill.

They moved up the pitch, gradually, en bloc and then eventually prised out their chances.

We played the big hoof or on the break.

If the players we have that can live at this level aren't on the pitch, there's only one way for us now.

I reckon we have half a dozen who can cut it. So we need a bit more quality. And we'll need to pay for it in January.

How many have we played? 12?

Reading played well first half. Huddersfield played well first half, and Brighton took advantage of us offering nothing in attack until scowens shot in last 15 minutes.

    Thought Fulham were really good.

Other than that, I don't think we've been really outplayed mate.

We were not outclassed. More cannily denied any opportunity to get into our stride, but for the first 15 minutes, by being outnumbered in midfield by an experienced, cynical Fulham team, who had more than a bit of luck, with their 1st and 3rd goals. We were worryingly ground down and exposed, though the classier bits of football I can remember came from us. We did score two very good goals...

I would think David Button had the ball more than anyone on the park.
