    ithink now is the time we will all see the real reason for the take over is it the real value of the club and assets or is it an interest and kudos of owning another club.If Its the later then why us ,were we cheap or is there an underlieing ulterior motive

    If this had any truth they would've sold Yiadom. That's a £2 million asset right there that they didn't cash in on.

    Always thought they’d let us play out the season as we are then we’ll see changes.
    Don’t want to rock the club just change the professionalism and maximise lines of revenue through sponsorship etc.
    Nice hot Chinese sponsorship that’ll happen to us soon and bring in extra revenue.
    Also hoardings etcll

    a few key players plying their trade in the prem with decent sized sell ons could be one thing - Mawson, Conor, Bree, Holgate... Could be 15-20m there for doing nothing at Oakwell if they all do well.

    I don't think that is the case though. I think we will see post season the change in direction in things like sponsorships etc that will bring us more revenue to invest in better players. Think they should have put a little more investment in for the Jan window to ensure we stayed up though otherwise we will take two steps backwards again before they can go forwards.

    Maybe they are being really cute and have a high flying League One Club who are at or near the top of the table as Plan B. It'll be easier to sell a team that's winning (no matter at what level) than one which is struggling so if we're in the Championship they'll push on at that level and if it's League One then same idea but aim for immediate promotion.

    I hope so. Hopefully the Ponty end will be renamed the New City Capital stand and the shirts also have that on the front. Need to milk it as much as possible and as wrong as it is, everyone is doing it to get around FFP.
