    Absolutely spot on. His technique was phenomenal. I remember watching Soccer Saturday seeing Iain Dowie say that McCourt could nutmeg a mermaid and beat a man in a phone box. Unreal natural ability.

    It didn't matter where McCourt had the ball for us, I was on the edge of my seat expecting him to pillock a defender and create something out of nothing. To this day I've never seen anyone quite like him in a Reds shirt.

    Great goal but he didn't immediately run off the pitch, spew up and get subbed, so not quite as iconic as his goal v Boro.

    I loved Paddy. He's amongst the most skillful players I've ever seen play for Barnsley and one of my all time favourites. Unfortunately, he was the right player at the wrong time.
