what's the plan? from the club? probably the same as this time

what does it seem that a lot of supporters want?
    1 per season ticket holder
priority then given for regular attenders
club to open its box office for more than 3 hours on weekends
    more than 2 tills open...
turnstyles utilised when large queues are to be expected
less than 25% of capacity given to away fans

    for a start

maybe he has been pushed too far once too often?

Only one side is to blame when that happens.

Its all about balancing the various demands though innit

On the one hand, you've got the need of the club to fill the ground.

On the other, you've got the desire of these regular fans to get their ticket.

On yet another, you've got people wanting to sit with their mates- the queues when tickets first went on sale where testiment to that.

I don't know the answer. but I really can't understand anyone who throws their support for BFC away because of this. Its as tho they think the club should look after their needs personally. The only way they can guarantee to cater for you in terms of buying high demand tickets, is for them to have a season ticket. Thats always been the case.

I do believe however that there are lessons to be learned here. There should be some way to ensure people who can prove attendanceby means of ticket stubbs can get tickets for matches like Chelsea. The general sale should be been split, so that those who have stubbs go first.

I'm sure the club will look at alternatives for next time.

RE: One ST- one ticket. nt

Even if the club had only sold 1 per ST, all the tickets would still have gone and there would be people coming on here claiming to be deserving of one. There were just far too many people wanting to see this game than there was room for. The fact that so few are coming on here and saying that they haven't got one (Rosco, Korky, Leeds Tyke) shows that most 'regular' fans have managed to get one this time. Inspite of the club rather than because of, admittedly.

The ticketing policy put people who've never been before ahead of regulars, many of whom ended up with no chance of a ticket, and that's just wrong.

And would you pass it on to someone who just wished us back in Admin?

Dont get me wrong I have a lot of Sympathy for Rosco , and Leeds tyke and quite a few others but I think some proportion is needed here

First the game is on TV
Second any non season ticket holders or people who werent friends with one could jump the queue by joining the centenary society

By the way I live in Farnham it makes no financial sense to have a Season Ticket as I cant get to all the home games but I have one anyway precisely for occasions such as this. (and to guarantee my seat amongst people I know)

I didn't get a ticket for Liverpool initially and was unhappy about it but didn't ever consider not going to the club again or wishing admin or worse on them (fortunately I managed to get a ticket later from someone who unexpectedly had a spare)

Yes I agree that with average home support of around 10 000 we should have been able to accommodate all regulars but it would really have needed planning for earlier in the season so ticket stubs could be saved. Unfortunately that wasnt done.

Do you really think that missing college is like having to take a day off work?

When you graduate to the real worldyou will understand just how much of a kick in the balls having to go to work and earn a wage can be, when school kids can just take the fecking day off.

I can see how some people felt shafted over Liverpool tickets

But when there are approx 17,000 tickets and average home support of less than 10,000 can't see how anyone who really wants/deserves a ticket could miss out?

    I thought not.

It's an assumption we all made based on the supposed capacity of the stadium. What we are all unaware of is how many seats have had to be closed off for safety, segregation and TV requirements.
