Relegated even lol..

WTF... 14 matches or 42 points for us to play for. Also, with a game in hand over Burton, Bolton, Sunderland & Birmingham

 

Being played off the park by bottom of the table with players showing no shame or effort to get back into the game is a good sign you’re probably going to be relegated.

We were a bit **** but to suggest we were played off the park is just bonkers.

They had 2 shots on target out of 4 all game and both shots on target were worldies that they’ll never score again.

 

When Jose asked us to believe, I think "believe we're staying up" is what he had in mind. Some folk have got the wrong end of the stick.

 

First one was. 2nd was just poor goalkeeping.

 

Given it has take 32 games to get 28 points saying how many are left available is hardly cause for optimism.
Wouldnt say I'm resigned to it, we can still stay up the teams around us are also very poor.
But I think the likelihood is we will go down, this is a conclusion based on the available evidence. We are down right awful and don't score many goals. I have seen nothing all season to suggest a change of formation or tactics will alter this.

 

Maybe so, point being they were 25 yarders. They hardly created anything else apart from the Yiadom block just before their 2nd.

 

Mills missed a sitter, McBurnie struck the bar, we were denied a stick on penalty and
we had a disallowed tap in. They got lucky. We are not closing players in open space
down and our keeper was out of position for their second.
Put all of those things right we should just have enough.

 

Let’s hope so but we’ve been saying stuff like that all season. Heart wants us to escape but my head says we won’t. Hope to god I’m wrong.

 

To honestly believe that this squad is good enough to stay up is living in cloud cuckoo land I witnessed a total lack of class anywhere on the park last night
And for 45 minutes plus WE WERE PLAYED OFF THE PARK!!!
We did improve slightly second half but as someone said earlier a better team than Burton would've smacked our arses good n proper

 

I reckon we will go down eventually this season because there isnt enough quality but we are 2 points off safety. The best thing we can all do is get behind them and hope for the best and you never know. People already planning away trips to league one teams is ridiculous. We have 14 games left and much stranger things have happened.

 

I do think we will stay up, but last time I checked definitely don't live on cloud cuckoo land.

I look forward to all the defeatist individuals, admitting how wrong they were at the end of the season. Doubt they will though, probably just call us lucky. Yoooouuu Reddddzzz..

 

I think we will go down buy I haven't given up. We can stay up I just don't think it's very likely.

 

And when are we gonna score a worldy or to the point any goals to win us football matches. No goals means going down

I admire your optimism, but I'm quoting this for if we go down.

I'll be delighted to be proven wrong by this squad but from results as well as what I've seen with my own eyes, they really are not good enough to stay up this year.

It would be incredibly disappointing to get relegated this season given how utterly ordinary so many teams appear. Plus there's the added help of Sunderland being in crisis, Birmingham being utterly awful, Hull on a terrible slide down the division and Bolton and Burton never showing signs of being anything other than in a scrap at the bottom all season. We've got a wonderful chance to stay up, probably as good a chance as we're ever likely to get given how many teams in and around us are incapable of picking up any consistent points. One thing is for sure, whoever goes down this year will absolutely deserve to. To be worse than at least one of Sunderland, Bolton, Burton, Birmingham and Hull deserves to be relegated.
