They dint need to. They were two up against a team who haven't scored more than one goal in a game for nearly three months.
And the first one was extremely poor defending in the build up, especially by that lazy get Gardner - f'in criminal the way he ponced abart .
A last gasp equaliser against a truly dreadful Reading (the worst I've ever seen) suggests to me that we're not going to stop up.
Exactly. We have 14 games left. If we lose 7 of them we can't reach 50 points. Now 50 may not be needed this year but it gives a good indication of how the odds don't favour us. Anything is possible, its just not very likely. Our best chance of staying up is if the line is drawn this year at a much lower than average points tally. We already look incapable of reaching 50. Would be interested to know the lowest points total that has kept a team up.
This is literally every game though, its no good missing sitters and hitting bars, there's no column for that in the final standings.
I’ll state the obvious. It doesn’t matter how many points we get. We’ve just got to get more than three other teams. Given the fact that we have won one game in the last 17 (seventeen) it is a miracle that we aren’t ten points adrift at the bottom. The others are all crap and have the same mountain to climb that we have. We aren’t even in the bottom three on form over the last ten matches though god knows how. I fancy Sunderland, Burton and Forest for the drop.
Big difference now that everyone seems to be missing is that the negative losing mentality that has been with us for over a year now has gone, a formation and some players that have held us back are now about to be dropped and our new coach our new striker and players that have had their creativity and confidence drilled out of them are all now going to step back up and keep us up without a doubt.
If we lose to Birmingham any hope for me has gone sorry but we have been beaten by ***** teams QPR away and Burton at home are 2 we should not be losing. Still alot of winnable games still to play brum, hull millwall bolton. But we must beat Birmingham for me.
The boys did it for you Redrum. After last nights battling display at Hull, I'm even more convinced we've got slightly more than three other poorer teams in and around the drop zone and we will stay up.
Yes I was a bit gutted after Burton but it' a results game and a win and a draw in 2 away games has lifted us out of the drop zone. I'm sure they will be ups and downs before the season ends but I'm convinced we have enough quality to stay up. On to a winnable game Saturday utr
