I thought hypotension was the same as high blood pressure.
Low blood pressure
hyper = high
hypo = low
hypothermia = low body temperature
hypoglycemia = low blood sugar
hypothyroidism = low thyroid levels
When did this become a medical forum? However this is typical medical jargon aimed to mystify the common man. It means feeling dizzy when standing up and walking around due to low blood pressure.
