    RIP Peter. Fortunate to meet him when my mate who sponsored a Leeds game invited
    me and a couple of mates along. Remember it was Leeds v Arsenal.
    The " onstage" personalities were Allan Clarke and Eddie Gray and Lorimer was at the
    bar with them during the interval.

    When Sniffer did his segment, he said there's a bloke playing for Arsenal today Thierry
    Henry who everybody is raving about. He then said " tell you what, he would never have
    got in the Leeds side managed by Don Revie." At that point Peter laughed threw his head
    back and hollered " you what Clarkey."

    Come 3 pm Henry and his mates absolutely ran amok and by half time had rattled four
    goals in without reply. Remember that Henry abetted by Bergkamp, Petit, Viera and Co
    had an absolute blinder. Leeds couldn't get near him. At half time the Leeds compère
    said " you were saying Sniffer".

    Thats the place i think im going back about 15 years when i went in quite regular over about 2 year period when Peter Lorimer owned it and worked there.
