For those going to the match tomorrow - please keep it real and don't get involved with any fighting nonsense.
We don't want to give them any excuse to tar us with the same shitty brush as them.

Only takes one idiot, there's a lad who I see at almost every away game and on the odd time that there is some trouble he's always at the centre of it, don't know how he hasn't been banned.

Yes, Durkar's right, no poking fun at the inbred, dog loving, family felching, Fritzl dee-dar rimlickers.

Totally agree with that , Violence is steadily on the increase amongst supporters after a steady decline.
Although never completely eradicated from our game I think most supporters that weren't looking for trouble were made to feel safe amongst rival supporters.
The very violent fringe of foreign ultras is making a big impact on the game and is more organised and indiscriminate than the British version of the 70s and 80s imo.
We need an effective strategy to combat it in its relatively early stages of re emergence into our game

The reason it's been moved to an earlier kick off time is because Barnsley fans have a bad reputation.

You only have to look around you at away games to realise that a relatively large part of Barnsley's away support are likely to get involved if it kicks off.

As for the rise in football hooliganism - IMO it relates directly to police resources.
As police resources goes down - football related hooliganism goes up.
