We are moving forwards not back here. Be patient and use today to pay your respects to Rimmo. You will regret not doing so if you choose to focus on bashing the club instead. Theres some unbelievable work gone on at BFC in the last few years. Some of it has been genius. Just remember that the men in charge got us here and the Winnall sale is to move us forward it certainly doesn't move us backwards. Be patient good news is coming out of this window. Today is Rimmos day. RIP. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It's more the fact that in the Q n A when Hecky had taken control, they all sat at the top table and clearly stated that rather than take a paltry offer like in the past which 500k is, they would just see the contract out and we would see the value from having those players in the squad..
Winnall wanted out. He wanted to play for Sheffield Wednesday. We've all seen him sulk before he wasn't worth keeping around. Its more than 500k. Winnall leaving now is a good thing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm interested what makes it a good thing? Has it changed the atmosphere at the club for the better? Is it the players you've heard we're after? I'm intrigued.
500k is the only figure being pushed through the media though, if that's not the case and we got a decent fee I could understand. We should have some sort of comms out of the club to settle things down. Trying not to be overly negative because no player is more important than the team as whole, it stings tho with it being Wednesday who we have a realistic chance of finishing above this season and weakening the squad doesn't help in that sense.. I do wish players would not make stupid comments about it being so special about what is happening with the club at the moment and with particular regards to the current team, then jump ship for what seems like purely a money decision. Winnall did exactly that only last week.
Football's ****. Log off and put the £36 Leeds ticket l was going to buy towards a meal out with our lass instead.
Shouldn't you follow your own maxim from your opening post? Today is not the day for slagging the club off but it's okay for you to slag Sam off? Whatever Sam may or may not turn out to have done, I know, as does everyone else who was at the Birmingham game, how much Rimmo meant to him.
I don't disagree with the post but I'm still waiting for our 'nailed on' signing of Lloyd Isgrove before the last window shut so I'm approaching some of the content with care...
What the **** has that got to do with it? Respecting Rimmo's passing isn't something reserved to the club and current squad. Do as I say not as I do, ffs. Even the club has said they don't want to focus on Rimmo and not talk about Winnall this afternoon. (Personally, I'd be for taking the BBS down this afternoon and just displaying a picture of Rimmo as a mark of respect).
