Great effort, hopefully the players don't need us but lets make the place bounce. Anyone else making a night of it too? C.O.Y.R
Train down from Waterloo to Fratton for me. Respect to you lot making the long 260 mile journey from Barnsley. 2000 support is fantastic.
The home ends are sold out too https://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/...g-tickets-for-crunch-barnsley-visit-1-8815066
Yes were staying over 5 of us on Victoria Road in Southsea with 5 pubs close by and a decent 25 minute walk to the ground then upto the Guildhall at Night hopefully after 3 points
I’d avoid guildhall walk, dying on its arse, gunwharf, palmeston road south sea or Albert road are all better nights out
As a bloke who lives in pompey and as commuted to Upton for 10 years ( no more ) DON'T go the M25 way if driving, I am sure you are all veterans in away days travel up and down the land , if you want to know the best way ( imo) I'll give it COYR
Nar ........ if yer believe many on here we are just a small backwaters club with a support base of about 7k.
Yes please. Have you got any suggestions where I can have a couple of pints after the game with the kids
Will be a brilliant atmosphere, wish I could make it. I'll be visiting Azerbaijan or something though to watch it on iFollow
Gunwharf for a Family friendly area, it’s far enough away from the ground and has plenty of bars and restaurants etc, the kids will be fine in them all early evening. It’s 2 stops on the train Fratton to Portsmouth harbour or a taxi
Thanks for that is there a designated away pub close to the ground? Any pubs to avoid? (Looking at google maps; Milton Arms/Shepherds Crook/ Rutland Arms/ Rifle Club/The Talbot)
You’ll be ok in the rifle club, you won’t even get near the Milton arms nor should you want to! Best bet is away from the ground, guildhall walk is fine during the day, shepherds crook is the closet but maybe home fans, think we went in last time we played but with no colours on show
