No wonder non of players or manager went over to clap their long journey. They’ve just sang a song about a pundit since the final whistle and not even looked at the lads that’s just got them to Wembley.
I'm ok with Sunderland going through. Northern club and some decent fans when you meet them face to face. Pleased for Jack Ross too. Under a lot of pressure. Mind you more convinced than ever that the Reds were by far the best all round side in this division.
That was absolutely awful and also I know there's a little bit of bad blood, with fans but what was all that about, when the Sunderland player went into the crowd? ! That neaderthal with no teeth trying to attack a player! Christ I actually think that needs looking at and having them play behind closed doors for a couple of games....we can't have the players safety compromised...that was disgraceful.
The attitude of Sunderland's fans towards their own players is terrible. There only seems to be McGeady who escapes flak on their forum.
The difference between last night's match between Leeds and Derby and tonight's was poles apart. We've got a massive step up to even compete in the championshop.
I was dreading Pompey might pox a goal in the last few minutes and we would have to endure extra time. I’m not sure why I was worried though
Shocking are Portsmouth. Can't score in three hours of football over the tie and all they got tonight was five yellow cards.
I forgot to mention earlier. Did anyone see the tv cameras in the away end during the game? I wonder if that is the Netflix series they’re filming. If so and they were following us about I wouldn’t be best pleased them shoving a camera in my face during a play off semi final.
Bet you'd love being on telly! Seems slightly ironic that a 2nd series celebrates them getting back to where they were when they started the whole thing! (and that's if they go up)
Oh no I really wouldn't haha. Last thing Netfix would need is my mug during a footy match. I must go through about 5 different moods during a game. I didn't really watch the first series, but I think im going to sit through every episode this year and relive our promotion through their deluded eyes.
I enjoyed the first series and it was good to see things from different perspectives. Usually you don't get to know much about the players beyond the usual post match cliches but when Jonny William's was on about getting a dog cos he was lonely when he came to you and feeling so out of things with injuries and Fletcher getting desperate to score his first you have more sympathy rather than just thinking you should ge happy cos you're all.loaded!
