In no particular order. Brad Potts did really well when he came on. Got to have out himself ahead of the twins for a start. Thiam. Slated him before but he ran his ******** off and looked dangerous. The manager. Saw things weren't working and made three really good changes and didn't leave them late either.
I was really pleased to see changes that weren't just like for like and a actual attempt to change the game.
I thought playing a bit of Galvanize by the Chemical Brothers when Jose got announced to the crowd was a positive.
I agree, I was a little skeptical when Potts came on, but I think he's what we need - a bit more of a presence in midfield rather than the tissue twins who couldn't push a revolving door around.
Got to agree. Potts must’ve worked hard to come from nowhere the last few weeks to get back in the squad. If we go 4-3-3/4-5-1 next week I feel Potts might be in. Thiam did much better than recently do. Unorthodox but effective. Still no idea what happened with our “2nd goal” involving Potts and Thiam. I’ll have to watch it again now to hopefully get some clarification.
It was refreshing to see him in the middle of the pitch. I chuckled when both him and thiam came on. Turned out to be our best players. Encouraging to see jose not **** about and completely change it at half time and as the game wore on. Desperate defending at the end no doubt about that. And another dead cert penalty not given. Totally underserved loss on that 2nd half but royally ballsed up by the 1st
